Danitza Roche (b. Jan 17, 1978 in Puebla, Pue. Mexico)

Roche’s interest in pursuing a career as a professional in the culinary field was sparked when she began working at her Mother’s restaurant in Puebla’s downtown where traditional recipes of Mexico’s ancient cuisine were served every day.  She specialized in traditional Mexican cuisine with modern interpretations.

A Biologist by training with an immense love for the Mexican culinary arts, she combined both passions thoroughly and in her mid 20’s she moved to Braunschweig, Germany.  It was here where she immersed herself in the world of arts.  Her passion for cooking and sharing with others her skills lead her to become personal chef of the Mexican Association of Germany taking a new challenge in her life changing careers making of cooking her first priority.

In 2008, she moved to New York where she started hosting and catering parties with a Mexican Flair showcasing her exceptional talent for cooking.

She works now as a personal chef for distinguished families in the Tri-State Area and her company Mexico Gourmet has earned her great accolades and exceptional reviews.
