It's back.... the Mother Sauce class!!! The basis of all things wonderful and delicious... aside from good knife skills- making wonderful sauces will take you far in your culinary repertoire. Who better to teach this class is Chef Paul Barron- the king of sauces! I swear that his hollandaise sauce is so good you it will make you swoon. The rest of Paul's sauces are equally as amazing! If you want to learn how to make a fabulous sauce- then this is your class and Paul is your guy! The classic mother sauces are Hollandaise, Espanol, Béchamel, Veloute & Tomato. We will make the following variations of these sauces: Hollandaise, Bordelaise, Chicken jus & beurre blanc.
- Asparagus with hollandaise (the whole reason to have this class)
- Skirt steak with Bordelaise
- Chicken jus with chicken thigh
- Catch of the day with a beurre blanc
