This special evening will be all about great wine and delicious food.  In this demonstration dinner, Chef and Sommelier Mellie Lynn of Tiny Kitchen Big Heart, will prepare an amazing 4 course meal. Our open kitchen will allow guests to be part of the meal preparation while she explains how to balance food with wine for a perfect marriage of flavors. Chef Mellie is an incredibly knowlegeable chef who loves to share her love of food and cooking with guests. She will describe the proper way to prepare a lovely winter meal and how the selection of each wine balances the complexity of flavors.  We will meet new friends, share some culinary knowledge and enjoy a nourishing meal.

Menu with wine pairing

  • First course- Assortment of crostini on arrival
  • Second Course-Winter chicory salad with warm mustard vinaigrette
  • Third Course- Coffee and cocoa rubbed NY Strip, celery root and potato gratin, duck fat roasted brussels sprouts
  • Fourth Course- Merlot pear galette
