We are thrilled to introduce you to Chef Jason Welch and his first  pop-up dinner with Weekend Kitchen!  Jason is a very accomplished chef (see his Chef Bio for details) who has been doing these types of dinners at Sub Edge Farm in Avon.  He  focuses on utilizing ingredients primarily from all the amazing farms and purveyors here in Connecticut, and  he is not  only committed to sourcing locally, but sustainably as well.

The menu js inspired by Chef Jason’s yearly trip to Montegrossi Italy for the olive harvest, which is located in Gaiole en Chianti, Tuscany.  The people and restaurants in the area of Italy pride themselves on utilizing fresh local produce and products in their cooking, much more so than Americans.  And things just taste better! 

This Taste of Tuscany dinner will highlight just a few of Chef Jason’s favorite dishes, as well as featuring this years freshly pressed olive oil!   The dinner will feature 3 courses with wine pairings.  Come and meet Chef Jason, watch him cook your meal and ask any questions that you may have, it's an interactive event!  Seating is limited to 14 for this special event.
