I
first discovered these functional works of art about 3 years ago and
have been smitten ever since. The Swedish company Iris Hantverk employs
visually impaired artisans to handcraft high-quality products using
traditional methods. Each brush is constructed of hardwoods (beech or
birch) with hand wired natural bristles (goat or horse hair, as well as
tambico fibers). An eco-friendly alternative to throw-away plastic
brushes that are as beautiful to use as they are to look at. We are
expecting a new shipment of brushes soon!
